The king of Piedmont vineyards, Nebbiolo’s exaltation of the primary aroma of fruit and of the sandy soil of Valmaggiore (Vezza d’Alba) was cemented by making it in “Langhe Nebbiolo” wine. Only steel and glass are used in this particular winemaking process and in the ensuing perfecting.
Nebbiolo is one of the vine varieties that blends the hills to the right and left of Tanaro river and Langhe Nebbiolo, just like d’Alba’s, is the tangible example of the common vocation to quality of its original area. Langhe Nebbiolo is a purely monovine red wine. It expresses important tones and can sustain time and place itself in a positive manner among the other great sons of Nebbiolo vine. It expresses itself better after some years and this is due to the soil it grows on. The colour is ruby red, the smell blends the fruity scents of raspberry, geranium and wild strawberry to the ethereal and spiced ones of cinnamon and vanilla. The taste, completely dry, has noticeable structure, where alcohol, acidity and extract create harmonic and elegant sensations.
