Vine: 100% Nebbiolo.
Colour: ruby red.
Smell: fruity and typical.
Taste: dry, velvety and harmonic.
Aging: 12 months minimum.
Minimum alcoholic strength: 12% vol.
Val Tassera (Vallis taxeria in the olden times), was known in the past for the many badger (in Italian, tasso) dens hidden in its most recondite corners.
It’s here, over Vezza d’Alba, that Nebbiolo d’Alba Valtassera is born. Made from pure Nebbiolo grape, Nebbiolo wine is the ultimate expression of the nobility in local enology and has always been destined to bottling. On the harsh and sun-scoured hill slopes of Roero, Nebbiolo bunches acquire the typical refinement and grace that will provide the wine with the aristocratic notes that render it unique and inimitable among the great wines.
